Our Story

Born from a love of illustration, design, and all things cute, Isabell’s Umbrella is a boutique creative studio based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Influenced by Japanese kawaii culture, artist and founder Ashley Giessing blends playful charm with thoughtful design to create pieces that spark joy and invite smiles.

What began as a small collection of whimsical paper goods has grown into a delightful assortment of pins, keychains, stickers, and other small treasures—all lovingly designed to bring a bit of brightness to everyday life. With her husband, Mathew, by her side, Ashley continues to craft each design with imagination and heart, infusing every piece with the same warmth and wonder that inspired the brand’s beginning.

At its core, Isabell’s Umbrella celebrates creativity, positivity, and the simple happiness found in cute things—because sometimes, a little bit of sunshine can make a big difference.
